What is Big Girl Dreams?
Big Girl Dreams is a private networking space for women who dream of becoming entrepreneurs and need help getting started. We connect women with the resources, mentorship, and guidance they need to turn their ideas into reality, because women supporting women is how dreams get built.
We keep it small and private by design — no crowded rooms, no talking past each other, no siloed groups. Just 7 women in the room, every voice heard.
How does it work?
Networking
Each month, we bring together a group of 7 women for a roundtable networking session. We start by hearing each woman's story: what she's tried so far, and what's standing in her way. We provide a safe space for women to share their stories, learn from one another, and grow together.
Resource Matching
We connect each woman with resources, references, and mentorship tailored to her next step.
Accountability Check-ins
We follow up with women from past sessions to track their progress and hold them to what they set out to do. We start with monthly check-ins for the first 3 months, then lighter touchpoints through month 6, to keep women on track and celebrate their progress.
Our Story
Sometimes the best ideas come to mind at night. Two friends sitting at a dinner table, discussing other women's stories of wanting to start a business but not knowing where to start.
This sparked an idea to bring women together and identify ways to support them. We kicked off with a pilot session with 7 women. We sat down at a table and introduced ourselves — talked about where we are, what we want to do, where we're stuck. And then ideas, connections, resources, and recommendations started pouring in.
This wasn't a boardroom, or a conference room. This was real — sitting, talking, focused. Women supporting women.
We chose 7 on purpose — an odd, prime number that can't split into pairs or side conversations. Everyone stays in one room, in one conversation, together.
